Outer Banks Angler Rob Alderman

Welcome to the Outer Banks Angler. We are happy that you have chosen to visit our site. The Outer Banks Angler started out as a dream using $500 handycams and with persistance the handycams grew into more advanced equipment and eventually a Televised program in over 40,000 homes on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. These homes see an average of 5-7 million visitors per year. The positive response from the local and visiting population was overwhelming. Our straight to the point, high action program was viewed as a one of a kind. This response has recently lead us to signing up with The Sportsman Channel for prime time broadcasting across the country.

We do not try to teach our viewers how to be a better angler, how to cook their fish or present them with 5 mins of product review. We do not try to impress our viewers with fancy titles, equipment titles or any other mightier then thou titles. We present a full program of non stop fishing action. The Outer Banks Angler crew are average joes, that does not try to tell the public that we are professional fishermen or TV broadcasters, but we can hang all day long in both categories.

Wether,it is pier, surf, boat, kayak,or spear fishing we are well rounded in our presentations, any thing and everything goes. The Outer Banks of North Carolina is home to world class fishing and several world record fish, including the infamous red drum ( AKA redfish). We put men in the water almost every episode to catch the real action. We do not use Cameras on poles(unless it's unhealthy for our bodies). Our underwater crew gets up close and personal with Marlins,Sharks and every other species that crosses our camera's path.

This crew loves their jobs and their accompaning paychecks, but our goal is to promote all the different forms of fishing here in our back yard, along with sharing the all to many plights that face ours and many other coastal communities. For us this is much more then saying we have a national program.

So,take a look around.Join us in our fishing forums or check out our 2009 season trailers that will be updated often.Feel free to send an inquiry about any questions you may have about Outer Banks fishing.

Thank you
Rob Alderman
